Last Monday Wheelers Trevor Mayne and Paul Heggie travelled to Griffydam Leicestershire to ride Coalville Wheelers 19.8 mile sporting Open Time Trial.
On a demanding course, Mayne finished in 48m 30s placing 10th of 22 finishers. Unfortunately Heggie retired due to mechanical problems.

The club’s final Open Event of the year is the Green Moor Hill Climb on Sept 19th.
Following the easing of Covid rules the club is now meeting for the Sunday rides at Brewers Fayre roundabout, Wombwell at 9am. Visitors are welcome. Check the club’s Facebook page https://tinyurl.com/BW-FB-page for last minute changes.
