Last Saturday Wheeler Trevor Mayne rode the YCF 50 mile Open Time Trial at Boroughbridge on the old A1.
On a very windy day he recorded a time of 2h 6m 2s placing 10th overall and 6th in the 50-59 year old category.
On the same day Paul Heggie rode in the Rotherham Wheelers 10 mile Open Time Trial at Cuckney on the A60.
His time of 26m 28s placed him 23rd and 5th in the 60-69 year old category and took 15 seconds off his own club age record at 68 years old.
Tuesday saw the second of the club’s 5 mile time trials from Thurgoland to Hoylandswaine roundabout and back. On a breezy night, fastest on the night was Trevor Mayne in 13m 18s.
