Last Monday Wheeler Paul Heggie rode in the VTTA (Veterans Time Trial Association) National 10 Mile Time Trial Championship at Tring in Hertfordshire. On a day when temperatures soared to over 30 deg C he recorded a time of 23m 09s which was good enough to set a new club age record at 64 years old beating the long-standing record set by Mel Shaw in 2002 by a margin of 1m 39s.
