Last Sunday saw Wheeler Dan Emery compete in his first Open Hill Climb of the season. The climb of Holly Lane, Ambergate in Derbyshire was organised by Ilkeston CC.
Emery climbed the 900m climb with average gradient 12% in 4m 02s placing him second in his age group.

The club’s Open Hill Climb takes place on Sunday 20th on Well Hill Road up to the finish at Green Moor. The first rider is off at 17:01.
Due to the restrictions on maximum gatherings of 6 people the club have currently suspended their Sunday club rides. These will resume when government guidelines allow.
