Further afield on the flat, Wheeler Paul Heggie rode in the Seaforth Wheelers 10 Mile Time Trial at Bubwith. A strong wind meant fast times were at a premium and Heggie finished in 26m 27s placing him 58th of 79 finishers and 41st in the veterans (over 40) category. His time beat his own club age record at 67 years old set earlier this year by the slimmest of margins , 1 second!
