Last Saturday Wheeler Trevor Mayne travelled down to Newark where he rode the Sherwood CC 10 mile Open Time Trial on the A46.
His time of 22m 01s placed him 37th of 90 finishers and 16th of 32 in the 50-59 years age group.
Tuesday saw the last of the club’s 5 mile time trials from Thurgoland to Hoylandswaine roundabout and back. On a cool and damp night, fastest was guest Peter Barusevicus in 13m 06s. Close behind was fastest Wheeler Trevor Mayne in 13m 41s with fellow Wheeler Dan Emery 10 seconds behind.
